Privacy Policy

This notice describes what AES Education collects when you use aes-edu.net or write to a university office, and how long those records are kept.

The Atlantic Educational Society (“AES,” “we”) operates aes-edu.net and the offices listed on the contact page. This notice was last revised on October 1, 2026. Questions go to [email protected] or to the Registrar, 640 Seacliff Road, Calder Bay, OR 97439.

Information we collect

If you send the contact form or the newsletter form, we keep the name, email address, phone number if you provided one, the subject, and the message. Admissions files, once opened, also include transcripts, essays, recommendations, and test scores you choose to send. Student records after enrollment are kept in the Harbor Portal under the registrar’s retention schedule.

The public website does not set cookies and does not run advertising trackers. See the cookie notice. Messages you send through your own email program are kept by the office that receives them.

How we use it

  • To answer the message you sent, within the time stated on the form.
  • To open and read an application file, and to award aid.
  • To send the monthly briefing if you subscribed. Each issue has an unsubscribe line.
  • To meet accreditation, financial-aid, and public-safety record requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share an applicant’s file with a partner institution unless you have applied to a joint program and signed the release in that application.

How long we keep it

Unsuccessful application files are kept for three years and then destroyed. Enrolled-student transcripts are kept permanently. Contact-form messages that do not become a student record are kept for 24 months. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your requests

You may ask for a copy of the information we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete a marketing address. Write to [email protected]. Academic records are corrected through the registrar, not by deleting a transcript. We respond within 30 days.
