Mr. Ochuko Akposibruke

Mr Ochuko Akposibruke is the executive vice chairman, Guardian Express Assurance Limited. Ochuko Igho had his formal education at the University of Benin and the Times Journalism Institute Lagos. His outstanding performance in the academic field made him a proud recipient of "Best All Round Students Award" in 1990 from the reputable Times Journalism Institute Lagos.

 

Mr Ochuko Akposibruke is the Executive Vice Chairman, Guardian Express Assurance Limited. Ochuko had his formal education at the University of Benin, and the Times Journalism Institute Lagos. His outstanding performance in the academic field made him the proud recipient of “Best All Round Students Award” in 1990 from the reputable Times Journalism Institute Lagos.

Mr Ochuko Akposibruke is a member of many distinguished Institutes in Nigeria namely- Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration (FICA), Member, Institute of Directors(IoD), Fellow, Institute of Credit and Risk Management of Nigeria (FICRM). He is equally a member, Presidential Committee Police Welfare and Equipment Fund.

Mr Akposibruke has varied working experience which span the length and breadth of the Alliance and Insurance industry in Nigeria. Amongst these include, Tall Pals Limited, Standard Alliance Insurance Company Limited and a host of others.

A man that has achieved so much, Mr Ochuko played a major role in the effective and profitable turn around of three non profitable organizations into major players in the Nigerian Insurance industry in the space of one year in each case. He is a man of strength and will, and his unquenching desire/search for workable and effective solutions to all operational/functional problems stands him out at all times.

Dr. Akposibruke is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.

 
   

MRS. ANULI AUSBETH-AJAGU

Mrs. Anuli Ausbeth-Ajagu is a Visionary woman of many parts, passionate about influencing the thinking, mindsets, attitudes and value system of individuals, groups and society at large.
A versatile communicator; writer, motivational speaker, trainer and purpose driven coach, she has wealth of experience communicating verbally and in the print media.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in Theater Arts, from the University of Jos, a post-graduate Diploma in Journalism, from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism Lagos, as well as a Masters degree (MSC) in Mass Communication, from ESUT Business School Enugu. She has attended several training courses, seminars and conferences, and is a committed self-development advocate.

Mrs. Ajagu belongs to several professional bodies including Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Women writers of Nigeria (Writa), Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, amongst others. She writes weekly columns in newspapers and magazines geared at adding value, and inspiring youths, women, and development-conscious individuals to maximize their potentials and pursue noble goals.

She has over three hundred published articles on diverse subject matters to her credit. An author, with nine published books, she is a recipient of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) prize for children’s literature, 2001, and was a nominee of the year 2005 Pat Utomi book Prize. She was a faculty member of the Mass Communication Department of the CETEP City University Lagos, and has been a speaker/facilitator at several seminars and conferences, including training institutes, corporate organizations, women and youth organizations, religious and non-governmental organizations.

She is the Director of Oak Hotels, Founder/Executive Director of Youth and Gender Network, a non-governmental organization. Mrs Anuli Ausbeth- Ajagu is a God fearing woman, the mother of three children, happily married to Dr. Ausbeth N. Ajagu (an Entrepreneur/Industrialist). She is a Fellow and Faculty Member, Academy For Entrepreneurial
Studies, Nigeria.

 
   

MR. IBRAHIM D. BOYI

Ibrahim Boyi is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Eterna Oil and Gas Plc has over 20 years of practical experience in the down stream oil and gas industry across the West African region. He has held several Senior/Executive Management positions across several functions such as Strategic planning, Business development and Investments, Financial Management, Accounting, Internal Control and Audit, Marketing and Operations Management.

 

Ibrahim has extensive experience in financial and business process reengineering, IT systems design, change management, development of Corporate Strategies and Corporate performance management. He has equally acquired training, on-and off-shore, in advanced and modern management programmes, strategy, business development, IT, risk management and business improvement techniques.

A holder of BSc. Degree in Accounting and MBA, Ibrahim has a varied working experience which include; Managing Director/CEO, Gaslink Nig Ltd; Executive Director, Corporate Planning and Investments, Oando Plc; Accounts and finance Manager, Oando Plc, Internal Audit Manager, Oando Plc amongst others.

A member of International who is who of professionals (1999), Ibrahim has many publications to his credit which amongst others include; Measures for enhanced Export Performance of Nigeria’s Manufacturing Enterprises and Financial Consequences of Petroleum Products deregulation and Challenges Posed to Unipetrol Nigeria Plc.

Ibrahim’s professional membership include; ACITN, NCA and IOD. He is equally on national appointment as Member, Supply Planning Committee appointed by the National Council for Privatization to develop rules and implement the Open Access Regime for Jetties, Storage and Pipelines facilities of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC).

Mr. Joseph Odumodu - Managing Director, May & Baker (Nigeria) Plc

Mr. Odumodu holds a First Class degree in Pharmacy from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife. Additional academic qualifications include an Msc in Pharmacology and an MBA in Marketing. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Management. Mr. Odumodu belongs to several professional bodies: Fellow, Pharmaceutical Association; Member. Institute of Pharmacy Management International and Council member, Manufactures Association of Nigeria.

Mr. Odumodu is a Faculty Member, Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.

                         

Q.S Emmanuel Chukwudi Okere

Q.S Emmanuel Chukwudi Okere was born in Lagos State to Mr. P.E Okere and Mrs J.O Okere. He hails from Nguru Umuaro, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State. He attended St. Theresa Primary School, Nguru, where he passed out with Distinction in 1973. He attended Holy Ghost College, Owerri, Imo State, where he passed in Division one in 1978; He attended Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State 1980-1984, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (H.N.D) in Quantity Surveyor with Upper Credit.

He equally holds a Masters Degree in Administrative Law and Public Policy Studies from Lagos State University, Lagos, from 1995-1997. He is the first indigene from Imo State to obtain this degree in Nigeria.

Q.S Okere is a Registered Quantity Surveyor and a Builder by Association. He is fellow of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Member, Nigeria Institute of Management, and a Chartered Member of yhe Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators.

He is presently the Executive Chairman of Malpha Limited a firm with interest in Construction and Consultancy Services. He is also the Principal Partner of Method Consultants, a Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm. He was a Part Time Lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Lagos Campus. He has attended diverse lectures and delivered same at different fora. He is an Author.

Q.S Emmanuel Chukwudi Okere is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.

   

REV. OMOREGIE NOSA VICTOR. FCA, FCCM, FRIM

Rev. Omoregie is the Registrar/Chief Executive, Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria. He is Fellow of the Institute and Managing Consultant Novgie Cost Management Cosultants, a subsidiary of Novgie Konsult Nigeria Limited. MD/CEO, Novgie limited roup Nigeria. A Fellow also of Institute of Chatered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a Fellow, Member, Board of Trustee, Nigerian Institute of Records and Information Management (NIREM); Member, Computer Society of Nigeria, Operational Research Society (ORS) Birmingham, UK.

Omoregie is an indigene of Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

Had his early education at Baptist High School, Benin City and further studies in Power Plant under the sponsorship of National Electric Power Authority in Dublin, Ireland. He holds a Diploma in Power Plant Operation/Engineering as well as Accountancy. He had his Audit Articleship with Alexander Jaboro and Co Chattered Accountants and qualified as a Chattered Accountant in 1991.

Holds a Bachelor of Theology, (B.Th) of Community Bible Institute, USA. He currently has Master in Transport Management (MTM) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, in view.

With better part of his working career spent with NEPA he voluntarily retired as the Sectoral Accountant of the then Generation, Transmission and Engineering Sector to engage in active business and professional development

He has been exposed to many contemporary strategic management courses within and outside Nigeria most recent of the being " Beyond Budgeting Conference" held in London and Knowledge Management conference held in Birmingham. He has also participated in several Economic forum aimed at developing economic and social policies.

Omoregie is a recipient of 2004 Development in Nigeria Merit Award (DINMA 2004) and the prestigious EXCELLENCE IN COST MANAGEMENT NATIONAL MERIT AWARD.

His strategic initiative working with Cost Management Systems of Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing-International, USA, Cost Management Specialist, Australia and Blue Chip Consulting Group, Australia culminated in the formation of Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria which today has opened a new door of professional development aim at promoting a stable, resilient and and viable economy.

He has been a paper presenter in many workshops/seminars and conferences.

MR. AUDU PAUL OKOLO, F.C..A

Audu Paul Okolo was born in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. He had his secondary education at C.M.M.L Secondary School, Ayangba where he obtained his West African School Certificate and later proceeded to College of Education, Katsina-Ala where he obtained N.C.E
He was admitted to the Prestigious Bayero University Kano in 1982, same year that he completed his N.Y.S.C. and left with a BS.c Hons degree in Accounting in 1985 with Second Class, Upper.

His quest for professional excellence also propelled him to enroll for the professional exams of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He eventually qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May, 1992. He also obtained his M.B.A (banking and finance) in 1999 at University of Ado Ekiti. In addition, he also obtained the Treasurership Dealership Certificate of the Nigerian Money Market Association in 2001. He was elected Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in year 2003.

Paul worked as a clerical officer at College of Education, Katsina-Ala between 1977 and 1978; lecturer (accounting and finance at Benue State Polytechnic between 1986 and 1991. In April, 1992 he joined Rims Merchant Bank as Senior Executive Assistant. He rose to the rank of Senior Executive Assistant, the position he held till December 1994 before joining Universal Trust Bank as Assistant Manager in January 1995. He rose to the position of Treasurer, the position he held until he resigned from services of the bank in January 2006. Currently, Mr Audu is a Financial/Investment Consultant. He is also a Principal Partner in AUDU,UMUNAKWE and CO.Chatered ACCOUNTANTS.

Paul is a recipient of many awards, a few of them are: Chief Executives award for Excellent performance ( RIMS Merchant Bank Limited-December 1993); MD/CEOs Award for Outstanding Performance (Universal Trust Bank Plc- Dec 1999). African Achievers Merit Award for excellence in leadership 2005, Nation Builders Merit Award, 2005. Mr Okolo is the Chairman, Board of Governors, Community Secondary School, Egume (2005 to date), Natonal President, EGUME Ome Decendants Union, (2005 to date)

MRS. JULIANA OMOLARA IMOOWO

Lara Imoowo, widely acclaimed as a skin car expert all over Nigeria, was born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. G.A Koyi in Lagos, Nigeria. Lara as she prefers to be called, attended Loral Nursery & Primary school for a few years and then completed her primary education at the Nigerian Navy Primary School, Navy town, Lagos. She contnued her education at Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Navy town, Ojo, Lagos.

Mrs. Juliana Lara Imoowo is presently MD/ Chief Beauty Therapist, Larboni Beauty Limited and executive Vice chairman, Sumptuos Meals Ltd. B.sc. Economics; Practical Beauty Therapy Diploma- Stonebridge Associated Colleges, ASET LEVEL Three beauty therapist and esthetician, licensed in England, Mary Kay Beauty Consultant listed in the national sales Director hall of fame. Professional make-up artist as well as skincare consultant and esthetician, speciallized in ageing, hyper-pigmenting skin, acne-prone, and all skin types especially black skin types.

Trained by Anna Lotan Cosmetic labs in the art and science of advanced skin care and facial procedures, using Dead Sea mineral therapy. She likes reading, mentoring and empowering teenage girls and women. In her spare time, Lara writes for Exzibit magazine as their skin care and beauty tip editor. She is also a motivational teacher as well. Mrs Juliana Omolara Imoowo is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies Nigeria.

 
 

COL L.G Ufodike (RTD)

Col. Ufodike retired honourably from the Nigerian Army as the second highest-ranking Igbo officer at the date of his retirement on 17th July, 1996 who attained the rank of full colonel from the Education corps of the
Nigerian Army in all Igbo speaking states of the federation. Now the Managing Director of Leobelak Nigeria Limited, Col. Ufodike is an ardent entrepreneur, a philanthropist who tries to give to all who ask.

An expert on advocacy and conflict management, Col. Ufodike have undergone courses on security management which contains security training on conflict management, fire fighting, and bomb disposal. He equally acquired experience as a therapist on drug rehabilitation and related issues.

A widely traveled man, Col. Ufodike belongs to several professional associations and bodies amongst which include: Member, Nigerian Institute of Management; Member, Zoological Association of Nigeria; Member, Science Teachers Association of Nigeria and Member, Fisheries Society of Nigeria.

His professional appointments include the following; Officer Instructor; Officer Commanding Company Admin – Company NASE; Head of Department of Biology – The Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna; General Staff Officer 1 for Training (GSO1) Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre; Brigade Education Officer (BEO) Commandments Nigerian Army Command Secondary School Jos; Chief Management Training Officer, NAFRC.

Col. Ufodike served in extra regimental capacities as Member, Kwara State Government Tenders Board; Patron General Sani Abacha Sports Complex Lawn Tennis Club (Ikeja Military Cantonment).

A prolific writer who has presented several papers to various academic and professional audiences, Col. Ufodike is a member of Nnewi Leaders of thought, Hero of Umudim and was conferred with the meritorious award of ONUO-ONAA Nnewi.

DR. UJU OGUNBUNKA, FCIB (Registrar/Chief Executive CIBN)

Dr. Uju Ogunbunka is the Registrar/Chief Executive, The Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria. Born in Imo State, Dr, Ogunbunka has an MSc. and Ph.D degrees in Banking & Finanace His professional membership include; Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
The Institute of Management Consultants, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.

He has worked in various places and capacities amongst which are; African Continental Bank Plc, Commerce Bank Ltd, Allied Bank of Nigeria Plc; Director, Consultancy, Training & Research, CIBN and presently the Acting Registrar/Chief Executive,. The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

A prolific writer, Dr Ogunbunka has authored many books and edited many journals and other publications. He is equally a recipient of many awards amongst which are the “Distnguished Ambassador Award (2000) by st. Peter Claver Seminary, Okpala as well as “Accredited Management Trainer” by Centre for Management Development (CMD) Lagos.

Dr. Uju is a member of the Presidential Committee on Moderation of Interest Rates; Bankers’ Committee Sub-Committee on Merit Awards; Committee on Mortgage Institutions in Nigeria; Financial Institutions Training Council amongst others.

An accomplished Banker, Dr. Ogunbunka has attended and facilitated in workshops and seminars too numerous to mention. He is a faculty member, Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.

 

CHIEF SEGUN OLUSHOLA, MNI, OFR

Born in Iperu, Ogun State, SEGUN OLUSHOLA after his academic pursuit begun life as an assistant at the ECN now PHCN. He began his braodcasting careers in 1955 at the Ibadan station of the National Broadcasting Service and in September 1959 became Africa's first Television Producer with WNTV now - NTA Ibadan in a television career that lasted till 1967 during which he created the longest running TV Drama Series - " The Village Headmaster "

He equally served as Chairman of the Broadcating Organization of Nigeria: (BON) Second All Africa Games Broadcast Coverage Committee 1973, and NTA's Director of Commercial Operation in 1986.

His broadcasting career included further education at the Syracuse University New York (USA), BBC Management of Resources Course - (UK), Pittsburgh University Management Programme For Executives (USA), and at the National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies, Jos.

On his retirement in 1987 he was appointed Nigeria's Ambassador to Ethiopia & Resident Representative of the Organization of African Unity and served till 1993 when he returned home to establish the African Refugees Foundation - devoted to the management of the root causes of refugees and internal displacement.

As Chairman of the OAU COMMISSION ON REFUGEES (1988-1993), leader of the OAU Zambia Election Monitoring Team (1991) and of OAU Monitoring Group on Violence in South Africa (1992), he has addressed international gatherings on Refugees, Election Processes, Media Development, Conflict Resolution, Culture and the Arts.

He is now: Chairman, International Centre for Arts, Lagos (ICAL); Founder/Patron, African Refugees Foundation (AREF) Nigeria; Chairman, Ajibulu-Moniya Gallery; Chairman, Talent Associates Nigeria Limited (TAN); founding Partner, MEGA RESOURCES CONSULTANTS; Member and past Trustee, International Institute for Communications.

Chief Olusola is a Faculty Member, Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.

 
 

ADAJU, SEGUN SOLOMON (F.AES)

Segun Adaju graduated from the University of Lagos with BSc. in Economics and MBA (with emphasis on Finance). He is currently the Managing Director of GS Microfinance Bank Limited. Segun started his banking career with then Crystal Bank of Africa (transformed to Standard Trust Bank Plc, now UBA Plc) as an executive Trainee in Financial Control. He joined First Atlantic Bank Plc in October 2002 as Branch Manager, Victoria Island. He resigned his appointment in August 2004 to take up further challenges in Standard Trust Bank Plc (now UBA Plc).

He joined First Monument Bank Plc in 2005 to be part of the team to drive the retail banking focus of the bank due to his vast experience.

Segun was inspired to set up a Microfinance bank by the success of Prof. Muhammad Yunus in Bangladesh and Grameen Bank in helping to reduce poverty. The Millenium Development Goals of the United Nations and the declaration of year 2005 as the year of Micro Finance have reinforced this. He strongly believes that with the right environment, Micro Finance Banking will be a huge success in Nigeria.

He is a fellow of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies Nigeria.

 

BARR. (MS) BENEDICTER MOLOKWU

A consummate and highly renowned legal practitioner with Masters Degree in Law has traversed the business world as a mogul.

Barr. Molokwu who was a Bank Director, was a founding member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria (IoD). She has served in several Federal government parastatals as a Board member and is the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Directors (Nigeria).

Her tenure as the President of the Institute saw the Institute to an enviable level.

Barr. Molokwu who is the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Swift Limited, a known Stock Brokerage firm is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria (AES)

 

 

DR. (SIR) GODFREY NNODIM EDOZIEM

Dr. (Sir) Godfrey Edoziem is the Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Bereau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), the presidency, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Abuja. Dr. (Sir) Godfrey Nnodim Edoziem, a native of Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, an accomplished Nigerian Citizen, was born on the 15th day of November 1949. He attended Baptist High School Port-Harcourt, Government Secondary School Owerri and thereafter Nebraska Westleyan University, Lincoln USA and University of Nebraska Lincoln USA.

He holds a Doctorate Degree in Education Administration and Planning from University of Nebraska Lincoln USA.

Dr. (Sir) Edoziem at different times attended so many international, regional and national institutions of planning and resarch which further made him more than an up-to-date accomplished administrator, academia and authority in national planning and related issues.

Dr. (Sir) Edoziem served Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education in various capacities some of which include: Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of State for Education (1998), Chief Federal Planning Officer and Head of Focal Point working with International Agencies (UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP etc) 1994-1997 and Special Assistant to Director General of Education 1993.

Dr. (Sir) Edoziem was a lecturer (University of Nebraska Lincoln USA (1980-1981), University of Lagos (1998-2000) (Part-time), and Imo State University to mention but a few), and he is a renowned Commentator on national issues.

Dr. (Sir) Edoziem is well traveled having lived in or visited four of the eight most developed countries in the world, and also China and seven African countries.

He is a true Christian, a knight of St.Christopher and above all a lover of humanity. He is a recipient of several prestigious national and international awards for his excellence, humanity and service to mankind.

Dr. (Sir) Edoziem is a tested and trusted researcher, writer and publisher.

The man, Dr. Sir, Godfrey Nnodim Edoziem is God-fering, achievement oriented and is happily married with children.

Dr. Edoziem is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial studies Nigeria (AES)

 

DR. CHIDI BARNS OKPALUBA

Chidi Okpaluba, a Veterinary Doctor by profession is an astute advocate of determination and hardwork as the bedrock of success in life. From an obscure but humble background, young Chidi launched himself into the world of business with all it's attendant uncertainties and vagaries.

Today he is on top of chains of businesses such as Quartermasters Limited a wholly indiginous company as the Founding Managing Director and now Chairman. He is equally the Founder/Executive Chairman of Q-Tech Ltd and Chief Coach of Dennis Catherine Consulting.

Chidi had his education at Railway Halt Primary School and Umuagbai East Primary School, Uga BVoys Secondary School, Uga, Aguata, Anambra State and University of Nigeria, Nsuka.

Upon successful completion of his course in the Medical School, Dr. Okpaluba, an irrepressible advocate of self employment launched himself into the business world.

Through Dennis Consulting, where he is the Chief Coach, Dr. Okpaluba has successfully trained manpower of several companies.

Dr. Okpaluba who is wildly traveled has attended a lot of development courses within and outside the country. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School and a graduate of Anthony Robins Life mastery Series USA.

He is a faculty member of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria.
